Design

The project explores and challenges technology and image production by utilising photocopying, photography and scanning to achieve a method of experimentation with image degradation and investigating low-fi technology processes and outcomes. Hand generated design processes became integral to the project's outcome to achieve a sense of the ‘one off’ piece and from this happy accidents came into play. The use of digital technology is also explored and adds to the evolution of the final design piece.

The body of work investigates expression with image making and utilises a broad range of materials to create an original piece whilst continuing to challenge the final outcome. A series of work has been developed from this experimental process based approach and looks to challenge the form and structure of the traditional publication.
