Re-enrolment dates for 2010

Undergraduate & Postgraduate Coursework Students

Current Art & Design coursework students must re-enrol for 2010 via the Web Enrolment System (WES) during the following period:

  • Monday 12 October - Monday 23 November 2009 inclusive

A late fee of $250 applies if you do not re-enrol on time

Please ensure that you attend the Re-enrolment Information Session  and seek course advice, if needed, before re-enrolling.

Whilst WES is only available for updating enrolment details during certain periods, you may view your enrolment details at any time.

Penalties for failure to enrol during WES open period:

To avoid a late fine you must complete your re-enrolment via WES during the specified timeframe. If you do not complete your re-enrolment during this period you:

  • may lose your place in your course and/or CSP students may lose their CSP place;
  • may be barred from accessing WES; and
  • will have a late fee applied to your fees if you are allowed to re-enrol.

Responsibilities of students re-enrolling via WES

You must re-enrol on-time; otherwise you will be liable for a late fee.

You should read the instructions provided on the WES site.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you comply with course regulations and requirements, including satisfying prerequisites and corequisite unit requirements. Your electronic enrolment record will not be checked by Faculty staff.

You also have a responsibility to maintain satisfactory progress.

WES Transaction number

Each time you make a successful enrolment transaction on WES; a transaction number will be displayed and will also be sent to your Monash email account. It is essential that you keep these transaction numbers and details of evidence of re-enrolment and/or variation of enrolment.

Research Students

As a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) candidate you are required to re-enrol on-line via WES  for 2010 if you:

  • will be continuing a program of study in 2010,
  • are currently on intermission but will return to study in 2010, or
  • will not be submitting a thesis before 18 December 2009

Please note:  If you need to complete any coursework units as part of your degree you will need to contact the Art & Design Higher Degree Research office (Ph: 03 9903 1962 or email: postgrad@artdes.monash.edu.au).

If you have any concerns about re-enrolment, PhD candidates should contact the Monash Research Graduate School (MRGS). Masters candidates should contact the Art & Design Higher Degree Research office, in the Student and Administrative Services Unit, FineArts Building, D1.02, Caulfield Campus.
