Reinforcing the need to consider the production and consumption as well as the transmission and reception of architecture.

This research is concerned with the historic mediation of architecture and the construction of architecture publics through multiple media and venues targeted to disciplinary and interdisciplinary audiences. Studies address research on emerging Architecture Centres which are relatively recent institutions trying to create interfaces between architecture and the general public. As well as investigations of how architecture is disseminated and represented through exhibitions, publications, tours and films.
