I enjoy being able to help clients communicate challenging messages and bring their vision to life. I love the challenge of developing something out of nothing and have been really fortunate over the years to work with so many great clients who help to contribute to positive initiatives for our community – whether that be through education, arts and culture, or significant behaviour change initiatives. Every day I get to work across so many different mediums and channels – online, print, outdoor and moving image. We work on campaigns, events, brands and major wayfinding projects and I find the variety this brings makes my job continually interesting.
My Monash degree gave me a really good grounding in conceptual design skills, which has set me up for getting the most out of my career. The course equipped me with skills for problem solving and conceptual thought that I think have transcended the technology changes which have revolutionised the industry. The design culture within the program was also something which became ingrained in everyone who studied together and I think that too has been an important influence in my working life.
