The technology that exists in today’s society has been developed with the intention of making life easier and more convenient. Modern automation decreases the manufacturing time of objects whilst making it possible to achieve more in less time. Computers and information technology have enabled an unprecedented level of access to knowledge globally. As convenience, flexibility and accessibility are enhanced, our actions and daily lives will continue to be effected. What will happen to our built spaces in the future a result of this evolution? Due to technological advancement, learning takes place anywhere anytime. Cumulearnimbus is a design proposal for the future, a future where information is available all around us, a future where libraries are neglected by the younger generations who grow up with technology at their fingertips. When classrooms and libraries become obsolete, why would people navigate aisles of books when knowledge is just a Google away?
