Im.sens: Immersive sensory therapy device is regarded as an immersive sensory therapeutic device which promotes functionality and well-being among long term patients. Research indicated that beside privacy, an environment that gives patient’s a sense of control and encounters the patient’s needs, helps reduce their stress. Moreover, three other important variables providing the patient a good experience are, natural scenery, therapeutic sound and aromatherapy which have been touched on in this design project. These factors can be a positive distraction and help in elevating patient’s mental well-being during their lengthy stays in a hospital shared ward.

I’m Shima, born to learn and inspire. Hardworking with a deep passion for design. Loves to design unique and create something extraordinary. Always thinks outside the box despite all the obstacles encountered throughout the design journey.
