Points of Reference – Painted Abstraction/Photographically Derived Imagery/Installation Through a Network
The exhibition at MADA Gallery, Monash University on Caulfield Campus shows all three major elements that have been under focus during the PhD research. These are the painted abstraction and composition of other media along a wall, photographically derived imagery and the artworks engagement with its site’s context. These three elements will be present in the three installations that comprise of the exhibition. By presenting together three individually exhibited artworks that have been shown previously, it will allow an opportunity to emphasise the aggregate of the three major elements of the artworks.
This exhibition comprises the practical component of Ry Haskings’ PhD research.
