My work represents objects and places used in the creation of 'alternative rituals'. These rituals can be seen as ideas and practices that humans are compelled to create when presented with extreme circumstances in life and when normal psychological options fail.

Objects, sheds, shadowy places and esoteric lights containing hidden meanings are a key focus in the works. The paintings evoke the 'supernatural' and are an exploration based in personal interest and experience.
