We are becoming an increasingly connected society with technology ingrained into many aspects of our life. This project aims to research and incorporate a natural user interface into a design that enhances digital and social experiences within the home.

Ascend Multi-Touch is a hybrid furniture piece, a coffee table that includes a multi-user touch surface. Designed for home and business consumers Ascend Multi-Touch aims to become a social, entertainment and digital hub within the home. With a 40” 10 point touch surface, full range of connectivity and a height and tilt adjustable screen, the design aims to allow multiple people to use the device at once with a focus on experience.
