This project proposes three succinct train carriages that provide, support education, and an access to a wider community; for new migrants. These carriages are designed to run on the regular metro train lines and are free to be utilised by all types of people.

The project looks at how I can accommodate new immigrants in Victoria, and in turn, reduce negative stereotypes and create integrated multicultural communities.

The three carriages operate independently as the expert consultation carriage, the Seminar Recreation and the Interactive Education carriage. The architecture responds to the site, drawing upon the idea of a moving site, the psyche of train commuters and the train lines different ‘personalities’. Thus the spatial design is based upon three key ideas; fold, rotate and pull; ideas that promote a notion of change within the context of the site, while also playing upon the idea of change and integration in society.
