Study at homeMore than 12,000 students each year take advantage of off-campus study programs offered through Monash's Centre for Learning and Teaching Support. Studying off-campus doesn't mean working in isolation. Monash supports its off-campus students with distance education liaison officers, and through constant phone, fax and email contact with lecturers. You'll also have support through Monash's comprehensive Flexible Library Services Unit, which offers booklending and other library services via mail, email and website access. Through Monash's Gippsland campus, the Faculty of Art & Design offers a popular Master of Visual Arts that attracts established practitioners from around Australia. The Faculty has also developed a format for international students to take its postgraduate degrees in their own country. Off-campus students can also take a number of individual art and design subjects, enabling them to work from home, their workplace, interstate or overseas. Flexible delivery subjects can also be taken as electives for other Monash courses, or as core subjects for diploma, certificate and part-time degree courses.
