  • Master of Fine Art - (Research) Painting, Monash University.

Statement

Storm Gold began his studies in photography, however he chose to undertake painting as his major focus. Photography gave Storm a keen understanding of form, light and content. He sees the studio practice of painting as a ‘grounding' paradigm, where ideas are connected and projects develop. His research interests involve considering the nexus between artwork, space and title. He has traveled widely and regards these as ‘mnemonic' experiences that are fundamental to the work that he makes.
