Statement

Julian Holcroft has 20+ years experience across the breadth and depth of the arts community- galleries, writing, curatorial, collaborative, radio and internet projects. Julian creates multi media installations that combine old and new formats, materials and technology.

As a reviewer his writing interests have focused on multidisciplinary art projects that utilise sound and performance as a major component of the work

He was the founder and Director Of Penthouse and Pavement Gallery (1999-2002) an exhibition space dedicated to new and emerging artforms, presenting the first solo exhibitons of a generation of emerging artists such as Nick Mangan and Daniel Von stumer, along with a focus on international, interstate and exchange projects from New Zealand.
