The idea for the video works are central to the inclusion and perspective of combat veterans. The reflection of ‘The Battle of the Pyramids’, François-Louis-Joseph Watteau (1798-1799), gave the idea of how war has developed. The battles fought today, have the absent calm before engagement, for this, I observed the subject of observation, domination and confusion of what happens in modern combat situations. Main tones of the art is communication and interpretation. Combat of today is dictated by the landscape and the distances, orientation and trying to find the needle in the hay stack of what is a threat. The dialogue and visuals are under the constraints of the events that happened to these veterans.

Transcript is a glimpse of what was entailed, approaching and discussing the artwork but also the foundations of our relationship. The redactions are purposeful to mainly hold back their personal information and the information that was relevant to their tours. Secondary is the gradual understanding of the deep routes of the videos. It is the process and window for extracting information about the video series.
