The future is shaped by inventions and creation of makers. Apart of the growth of technology, the creativity of the human mind is also a staple resources for generating ideas. I believe that everyone could be a maker. The designed making place is a work space that revolves around the tools of the future. Main ideas of the project is to attract people, from outside, to come and realize their dreams through the advanced tools such as Robotic arms, CNC machine, lasercutting, 3D-Printing.

There is also a testing ground, where everyone could test and try the creation of people, discovering the ideas and possibly to kickstart a production of said products in a bigger scale. Still in the scope of Maker Incubator, living units are provided on the top floor in a form of duplex. While both working and living are an important aspect in people's life, they have a different hierarchy and necessities. Hence why a vertical separation is made to differentiate between the day and night in people's life.

Human impacts are one of the major influences of climate change. The primary source of this increase is the emissions generated by the use of fossil fuel-based energy, like vehicle, generator. Furthermore, C02 emissions from buildings is driven by the usage of energy during the life of the building; such as heating, cooling, and lighting. It can be assumed that by constructing a single house, it may result to impact the nature.

This project is about creating a harmonious habitat or living space between human, animal, and nature without or at least lessen impacts to the environment. This strategy is considered by the fact that Heron Island is a sensitive site, and a need to solve the current issue with is coral bleaching and upcoming issue like rising sea level. Therefore, it need to start by creating a living space that not giving more impact to environment by reducing usage of building foot print and reinventing trees and creating more habitat for animals.
