RE:ACTIVE ARCHITECTURE

To expand the implementation of responsive interactive technologies in architecture I tested the choreography of actions, reactions and interactions across a set of three pavilions, each calibrated to different parameters and variables. The responsive pavilions demonstrate dynamic creation of adaptive spatial conditions that are influenced by and in turn influence climatic conditions, traffic, occupation, etc. Each pavilion explores the boundaries of kinetic structure, materiality and physical programming while addressing very basic human needs of protection and comfort and facilitating different modes of occupation.
