Ike Gottlieb, Highlighted Conditioning Component 2015
Per Form seeks to productively distill, manipulate and remix the essential elements of varied physical performances in order to reinvent their staging and facilitate expanded interactions between urban athletes, spectators and urban conditions through an architecture of activity.
Building on the atmospheres of architecture in Yves Klein’s Air-conditioned city and the dynamic environments of Philippe Rahm’s Architecture as Meteorology, the exploration operates through the manipulation of ground surface, temperature, sound, light, smell and space. The study is concerned with conditions of form rather than formal conditions. Beyond formal containment and generic neutrality, the project facilitates recreation and catalyses new configurations.
