Monash Art Design & Architecture

Sensebility investigates how the built environment can be more than an arrangement of form, activating design through multi-sensory engagements to foster rich experience beyond the dominance of opticality. The project explores the coordination of bodies, space, sense and time tested through the choreography of sequentially organised interventions and landscapes. The project illuminates the capacity of architecture to curate, heighten or dampen particular senses to facilitate embodied interactive multi-sensory environments that can enrich our lives.
