MoSS is an interdisciplinary platform for international teaching and research activities within the Department of Architecture of Monash Art Design & Architecture. Aligned with the university's strategic vision, MoSS seeks to expand the Department's international engagement by setting focus on one of the most promising but overseen regions in the world, Latin America and the Caribbean.
South Currently dealing with the architecture and urban design challenges that Australia is set to face in the next 30 years – such as the provision of affordable and sustainable housing, infrastructure and public space – this region represents an enormous potential for innovation that sits within several of the Department's teaching and research streams.
