Personal Statement:

John Stanislav Sadar was born in Canada and earned a Bachelor of Architecture from McGill University in Montreal, a Master of Architecture from the Teknillinen Korkeakoulu in Helsinki, and is currently a PhD Candidate at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He has worked in private practice with various firms in Finland, Slovenia, Canada, and the United States, and is a co-founder of the interdisciplinary design studio little wonder. His doctoral research investigates the relationship between architectural technology and ideals about the relationship between the body and the natural world. His design work has been widely published in the international arena, and has been exhibited in Australia, North America, and Europe. Meanwhile, his research work has been both presented and published internationally.
